in 1980. He is married with
three children and joined
the practice in 1986. His
interests include the care
of the older patient and the
youth clinic. Dr Say has
responsibility for the
practice’s external
liaisons. |

| Dr Reid
trained at Sheffield Medical
School and qualified in
1984. He joined the practice
in 1989. He is the lead GP
for the Personal Medical
Services pilot, is
responsible for Clinical
Governance within the
practice and coordinates the
cardiovascular and
respiratory disease
management programme. He has
managerial responsibility
for the information
technology systems within
the primary care centre and
is a Foundation Level 2
Tutor. Academic interests
include dermatology, heart
disease and minor surgery. |

Tooth |

MRCGP |
| Dr Tooth
trained at Cambridge
University and St. Mary’s
Hospital, London. He
qualified in 1988 and joined
the practice in 1994. He is
involved in the training and
selection of new General
Practitioners, the
practice’s Primary Medical
Services contract and
practice finances. He is
chair of Rother Valley South
Practice Based Commissioning
Neighbourhood. |

Wallis |

| Dr Wallis
trained at Leicester Medical
School and qualified in
1985. she joined the
practice in 1989, becoming a
part time GP as she became a
full time mother in 2001.
She relishes the generality
of general practice, but has
particular interests in
sports medicine, altitude
medicine and mental health. |

Dr Neil Thorman |
MB, ChB, DRCOG |
|
Dr Thorman trained at
Sheffield Medical School and
qualified in 1994. He joined
the practice in 1998. He is
interested in mental health
problems and runs the
diabetic clinic. Dr Thorman
has special responsibility
for the patients resident in
the local nursing homes. He
is also a General
Practitioner Tutor, taking
medical students from
Sheffield University as well
as Foundation Level 2
doctors. |

Dr Helen Speight |

Dr Speight trained at
Nottingham Medical School
and qualified in 1989. She
joined the practice in 2000.
Her main clinical interest
is family planning. Dr
Speight is responsible for
the prescribing and
dispensary service at the
Harthill Branch Surgery. |

Dr Grafton trained at
Nottingham Medical School
and qualified in 1988. He is
married with three children.
He joined the practice in
2001 and works part-time,
having previously been a
full-time General
Practitioner for six years
in Hertfordshire. His
interests include ischemic
heart disease, asthma and
tropical medicine having
spent two years working in
Africa. |

Dr Mary Grafton |

Dr Mary Grafton trained and
qualified in Leicester in
1988. She has a specialist
interest in paediatrics. She
is married to Dr Andrew
Grafton and also works
part-time. This allows them
more time to spend with
their three children. Dr
Mary Grafton took a few
years out of medicine when
the children were young and
returned to work in 1999.
She joined the practice in
2003, after working as a
locum in Sheffield for a
couple of years. |
