Practice Nurses
Our nursing team deal with a wide range of problems including minor illnesses such as sore throats, painful ears and colds (but not chest infections) as well as travel immunisations and advice. Their appointments, both 'same-day' and advance bookings can be made directly with Reception.

In addition to their general nursing duties, our practice nurses have particular interests and areas of responsibility as follows:

Sr Christine Handley SRN Nurse Manager (Diplomas in Public Health Care and Coronary Heart Disease, City and Guilds Teaching Certificate.)
Rheumatology, CHD Lead, Travel Medicines, Ear Care, Telephone Triage, Cervical Smears and Bereavement counselling with children.

Sr Sue Kelly GN (Diplomas in Primary Health Care and Family Planning
Nurse Practitioner
Family Planning, Cervical Smears, Youth Clinic, Ear Care and Phlebotomy , Travel clinics, telephone triage.

Sr Mary Ibbotson RGN (Diplomas in Ear Care and CHD)
Ear Care, Travel Medicines, Phlebotomy, Cervical Smears, Licensed Acupuncturists and Harthill clinics.

Sr Tracey Stimson RGN (Diplomas in Asthma, COPD, Leg ulcer Care, City and Guilds Teaching Certificate).

Sr Debbie Unwin RGN (Diploma in Diabetes).
