How to Make an Appointment

To make an appointment to a medical professional, please telephone the surgery. or book appointments on line through the Rotherham app. To gain online access contact reception .

If you are able to give our receptionists some information about your reason for the appointment they will be able to offer you the most appropriate appointment available. The appointment line opens at 08:30 and appointments can be pre booked . We also have a limited amount of on the day appointments.

Rotherham Hub Appointments

You can now be seen from 6.30pm to 8.30pm Monday to Friday  and on a Saturday & Sunday from 08:00am to 11am at one of our Rotherham hubs. Please ask our receptionists for further details.

Hubs are located at Dinnington Group Practice, Broom Lane Surgery, Magna Group Practice and Valley Practice.

Keeping your Appointment

We understand that sometimes unexpected events can prevent you from keeping your appointment. If for any reason you are not able to keep your appointment please contact the surgery as soon as possible so your appointment can be given to another patient.

The Practice is committed to provide consultations to all patients regardless of their age even if they have not attended the Practice within the last 3 years as long as they are still resident in the area. A consultation in the patient’s home may also take place if deemed appropriate. 

Breast Feeding Room 

If you would like to breast feed your infant in privacy we have a dedicated breast feeding room. 


Chaperones are available at the request of the patient, doctor or nurse.

Disabled Patients 

Both our surgeries have disabled facilities including a hearing loop for those hard of hearing. 

Translation Services 

We can arrange translation services for patients who do not speak English. Please inform reception when booking your appointment. 

Accessible Information

If you would like this letter or information in an alternative format, for example large print or easy read, or if you need help with communicating with us, for example because you use British Sign Language, please let us know.
